K-Pop Concert: TRENDZ Mesmerize fans with their ‘GLOW’ in Athens

May 30th, 2025. The atmosphere outside the venue is buzzing. Enthusiastic conversations, laughter and waves of positive energy ripples through the growing crowd. It’s just minutes before the doors open, but for Athens’ k-pop fans, this moment feels like a long-awaited reunion. Just minutes before the fans start filling the venue to meet TRENDZ, the k-pop idols that are determined to set the stage on fire tonight.

The excitement is contagious as we finally make our way into the dimly-lit club. Fans move to form a priority line and the fan chat begins! Hi-fives are exchanged, smiles are shared and, at this moment, idols and fans seem to build a connection that goes much deeper than words can express. Each conversation shines a light on the charismatic personalities of TRENDZ’s seven members—and reflects the unwavering love Friendz have for them.

Next up are the group photos. Fans step forward in groups of ten, beaming with anticipation as they prepare to pose alongside TRENDZ. Each photo captures not just a memory, but genuine joy.

Finally, the time for the concert has come. The fans flood into the main area, rushing to get as close to the stage as possible. The place looks like a vibrant sea of color and sound: eager screams, hearts beating a little faster, phones ready to record every single moment.

Black Unit, the renowned k-pop cover group based in Athens, make their way to the stage for their opening performance. With fierce energy and incredible precision, they set the tone for the night with their powerful mix of songs, including “Debut”, “Whiplash”, “Chk Chk Boom”, “Chameleon”, “TNT” and more!

When TRENDZ take the stage, the audience already warmed up from Black Unit’s showcase, the cheers erupt into a full-blown roar as the members appear under flashing lights. The show has truly begun!

From the very first song, TRENDZ display their explosive stage presence with synchronized dance moves and high energy. Their immaculate vocals and razor-sharp rap lines fill the venue, cutting through the charged air with charisma. The fans hold their breaths during gripping acrobatics and complex choreographies, scream on top of their lungs every time a high note is delivered. Throughout the night, the idols frequently interact with the crowd — reaching out, waving, even taking fans’ phones to record playful videos from the stage.

Between songs, TRENDZ take time to connect with the audience, creating some of the night’s most heartwarming moments. Their ments are filled with laughter and sincere words of gratitude. Fans cheer as the group share their thoughts about being in Greece, even attempting Greek phrases—earning instant applause and endearing smiles – and talking about trying gyros during their visit. The genuine bond is undeniable, with each exchange deepening the bond and keeping the atmosphere electric.

A true highlight of the night is the series of special solo and unit covers, allowing the members to express different colors of their artistry. From “Like Jennie” and “Fake Love” to “DUH” by P1Harmony and “Ice on my Teeth”, the crowd responds with deafening shouts.

As the show is heading to its end, the members of TRENDZ ask the crowd to turn on their phone flashlights — and within seconds, the venue transforms. The stage lights fade out, leaving only a sea of twinkling lights swaying to the rhythm of “Chameleon”.

After the final bow, the night isn’t over just yet. Fans who secured snapshot tickets line up excitedly inside for a chance to capture a photo they’d treasure forever. Meanwhile, outside the venue, the rest of the crowd slowly trickles out, lingering in groups. Laughter and happy conversations fill the streets as everyone shares their favorite moments, replays clips, and soaks in the last bits of concert magic. It feels like no one really wants the night to end.
