William Jakrapatr to Star in Thai Version of Broadway Musical

William Jakrapatr Kaewpanpong is going to star in the upcoming show “Dear Evan Hansen Thailand”, GMMTV announced during GMMTVNEXT.

“Dear Evan Hansen Thailand” is the Thai version of the award-winning “Dear Evan Hansen”, a coming-of-age 2015 Broadway musical.

The story follows Evan Hansen, a high school senior with social anxiety. After his friend’s suicide, with one of Evan’s therapeutic self-addressed letters in his pocket, Connor’s grieving family mistakes their relationship for a close friendship. Instead of telling the truth, Evan invents a fabricated history and digital footprint of a friendship to comfort the family and find a sense of belonging.
