Gunil Breaks his Silence on Allegations and Departure from XDINARY HEROES

“Now that I’m no longer a member of XDINARY HEROES, I don’t want to hide the truth or make excuses for myself”, wrote Gunil in the Bubble message towards his fans.

He shared that the person who shared the messages was someone he got to know through an acquaintance for about two weeks. This made it easier for him to open up and share his sincere thoughts, which derived from tiredness from constant hate, false rumours and stalking from sasaengs.

He admitted that the voice making disrespectful comments about the fans in the recording is, indeed, his. He then proceeded to explain that what led him to these words was a series of incidents involving unlawful actions by sasaengs and malicious posts about the group’s performance.

Gunil made sure to clarify that his comment were directed towards malicious “fans” and not the entire fandom of Villains. He also revealed that, while his work and personal life with the members wasn’t perfect, he has always been proud of them and cared for them.

Towards the end of his message, the idol apologized and thanked the fans for the happy memories they created together.

These seem to be the last words the idol will share as a member of the band. His departure has come as a huge shock to the fandom.

Meanwhile, XDINARY HEROES has cancelled their performance on Summer Sonic 2026.
